I have finally found an AMAZING mechanic shop. I brought my car in over 2weeks ago to get looked at and was given a decent price for the work that needed to be done on my impala (transmission) . I left my car with Dave and he promised me that it would be taken care of. That it would be done within a week
A week later I was called to come pick up my car that it was ready for me. Not only did Dave and his crew fix my transmission, but he also replaced my powersteering, battery, and fixed my alignment for me. Things I didn't not even ask him to fix. This man stands by his work, and his word. He is truly a blessing and a huge help. I know I'll never go to another mechanic shop again. Thank you Dave and all the crew down at discount transmission for getting me back on the road. You guys are worth every dime spent!!!

Dave has done work to many of my cars over the years he may not always give the news you'd like to hear but he's honest and explains things well. They are usually very busy so expect a wait with your car as good work takes time and his workers and shop can only do so much. Even when I couldn't afford to fix my car, Dave was there to offer a solution. Also has a reliable tow man named George he's the best!

Dave was phenomenal… There are not many companies out there who are honest and fair with their work and pricing. I was extremely happy that he rebuilt my son’s 2006 Ford Ranger transmission quickly, fairly priced, and the quality was spot on. He guarantees his work with a warranty as well. I can't say enough great things about Dave the owner of Discount Transmission. I'm a mechanic myself for many years. My situation was, my son drove his truck from Pa to New Port Richey to visit his mother. Once there the truck develop some transmission problems, knowing I couldn't help my son, I was hoping to find an honest transmission center. I googled the area transmission centers and found Discount Transmissions. They have one of the highest ratings. I spoke to Dave the owner about my dilemma. After talking to Dave I could tell, I found the right repair center. Dave answer all my questions kept me informed and even asked my son to stay in the area for a little while to put some miles on the truck before heading back to PA. Dave then rechecked the transmission, ensuring me and my son he was good to return to Pa. From one Mechanic to another, Dave Thank you Thank you. A fair and honest, reputable man!!! Oh! and my son made it back to Pa with no issues.
