Interplay Therapy Center

We found Interplay (Dana Johnson) through referrals from a pediatrician and from another family who has a daughter that Mrs. Johnson treats. Not knowing our son’s diagnosis until much later, we struggled for what seemed like an eternity and did not know which way to turn for help. Our 5-year-old had many of the symptoms indicating autism, but we avoided dealing with it – mainly out of fear. Dana Johnson is incredible and through her work, we have been able to make a connection with our son that we’ve longed for unit now. She has been able to ‘unlock’ his thoughts and although he cannot speak verbally, he is now communicating and we are learning that he is an incredibly intelligent boy. Our son struggled with not being understood, not being heard and unfortunately, people assume that these kids are mentally handicapped but they aren’t…they just cannot put words together to speak like ‘we’ do.
I am so happy and so relieved to have found this clinic and that our son is able to get the help and therapy he needs. Mrs. Johnson is also affiliated with a school which specializes in working with kids who have autism. We will be looking into this program next year. I only wish we would have found Dana sooner! Thank you so much for giving us the gift that we thought we’d never have!!
