Dr. Gluzak is thoughtful, compassionate, and sincere. Dr. Gluzak works with patients to help select the best plan of care and clearly cares about how each person does. Office team is responsive and prompt. I highly recommend this psychiatrist.

Dr. Gluszak got me stable in less than a year, compared to two years of treatment with other doctors. He takes your concerns seriously and patiently. He is aware of treatment options, and will inform you in detail of pros and cons of each one. I am very grateful to have found Dr. Gluszak.

He's amazing. He actually helps you work through things and doesn't just nod at you your entire appointment. He's professional while still being able to make you feel comfortable, and he won't let you lie to him and claim everything is fine like a lot of people with mood disorders are used to doing when someone asks. If he gets a feeling things aren't "fine" he gives you a look that calls you out. He doesn't pry, but the look let's you know he suspects something up. Then he leaves the air open for you to talk about what is actually going on. I think that's really important for anyone working with those with mood disorders to do. It's too easy to fall into old habits of hiding our emotions so someone who will actually get you to talk about the issues and doesn't just nod at you is really refreshing and helpful. And he was spot on with my medication. He listened me and asked a lot of questions then talked me through all of the options and gave me a list to research before prescribing anything. Then he worked with me to make sure it was the right medicine for me with the correct dosage. I never felt rushed or that my symptoms were misunderstood. As long as you're not looking for a wishy washy psychiatrist who just nods at you and puts you on a string of generic medications instead of actually trying to help you fix the problem, he's for you.
