“We where helping a friends estate get her house sold and the breaker box got flagged. There are 2-3 brands of breaker boxes that insurance companies don’t want to insure. I guess they are prone to catching fire. SI Electric was referred by a friend. My father is a remodeling contractor in another state so I know about house, I’m no electrician but I have seen lots of contractors over the years. They came out and gave me an estimate. They was able to schedule me quickly because we had a potential buyer for the house. They came out on time. Her guts were clean and courteous. In the few days that took for them to come out and do the box the contract on the house fell through. We asked them to look at the house over for any other electrical issues. They found numerous illegal junctions, ungrounded exterior outlets. Let’s just say it wasn’t just a few little things. The previous owner had spliced into the wiring in numerous places adding outlets around the house. All of them were done improperly with no permits. I’m so glad they found all the problems and fixed them all. In the end we went through a number of contracts on the house resulting in four or five different home inspectors coming in. We didn’t have a single problem on the electrical inspection! Thanks you Judy! The next time I need an electrician I’ll be calling!!”

“While cooking dinner Sunday night, my range went completely dark... I know enough to be dangerous, so I proceeded to do my troubleshooting... Checked the breaker, unplug, replug... etc.... no joy, no power going to the outlet (i have a tester :D). I called Tuesday afternoon and Faulkner dispatched a tech within 2 hours. I was greeted by two electricians (sadly, I am terrible with names, but I hope your management will reply with your names as you deserve a shoutout!) who were well kept, professional, well spoken, knowledgeable and efficient. They agreed with me that there was an issue with the double 40a breaker for the range and replaced it immediately. That didn't fully solve the issue, I now had power at the wall, but the range was still dark... They opened up my range, found a disconnected lead and resolved the issue without any hesitation and my kitchen is now back in business... (Sorry amazon, will be returning the induction burner) I will admit, there was a bit of sticker shock with the service call fee, BUT, I have not had an electrician out in over ten years, so I am certain that is just me not being familiar with current trends, and it was not exceptionally high, just a bit more than I had expected. That said, I would pay it again, top marks team!”

“These people are amazing! Honest. Principled.Knowledgeable. Yesterday was their third visit in as many years and will continue being our AC service provider. Techs have been Aaron(two years) and yesterday, Austin and Anthony. All have been super! Polite, prompt,helpful, and gave us useful information. I keep pushing honesty and integrity because these are such important assets. We have used six other firms over the years. The first lasted three years, then we lost confidence. The rest lasted one or two times. McWilliams has been only the second who did not try to sell us something on the first visit (which seems to be par for the industry) and, in their case, since. One contractor, defending his own fees, cautioned many have low service call fees, planning on selling an expensive repair, as we learned, not necessarily needed, or available for less elsewhere- $800 quote for a job that an AC friend of our daughter repaired for $50 in parts! Another tried to high pressure us into spending $1,300 because “warranty would cover $1,000”! Eight years later we are still using that part. It is a shame caveat emptor must be a guideline in dealing with some industries in Florida serving homeowners (sadly, all to often, Seniors). McWilliams is a find.”

We immediately called and spoke to Pete who honestly told us it was Duke energy's responsibility. I had a list of tasks to get done at the new house - installing a new light, installing a patio fan, and fixing outlets. I quoted some other guys and they were telling me what they couldn’t do.
