My wife and I were looking for a place to have lunch and get out of the heat for a bit, ran into this place and the menu looked great, decided to give it a try. We started off with the potato soup, which was, legitimately, the best thing I have ever had in my entire life. I have never had potato soup that delicious. I would go back to Clearwater just for that.

The customer service was absolutely fantastic. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and we talked to him for quite a while about the area and about the restaurant. My wife began to feel a bit ill after being out in the heat and cooling off very abruptly, so she was unable to eat her entree unfortunately. When she could not, the chef came out to check on us and talked to us for a while as well, offering to make her anything she thought she could eat. Ultimately she just needed to sip water and relax for a while, and they ended up not charging us at all for her entree since she wasn't able to eat it.

Basically, the food is phenomenal, the service is even better than the food. Absolutely will stop in again.

I was headed out for dinner, with full intention of eating at Clear Sky Cafe. The line was long & there was not any room ... Even for just one -

I continued down Mandalay Ave & came across Windjammer's I poked my head in to see if there was anything good to eat.

The hostess Julie sensed I was interested and asked me if I'd like to see the menu and inquired as to whether I'd like a drink.

The people watching from my sidewalk cafe table was great & hostess Julie agreed that my potato crusted grouper was an excellent selection from the menu.

Great service, fantastic food an adult atmosphere made Windjammer's an excellent selection.

I highly recommend this place & think Julie should be promoted!
