What a wonderful giving organization. They truly have been a blessing helping donate to people struggling to care for their fur babies. They help with cat and dog food and litter in time of need. They are so kind there. I truly appreciate all of their help and the people that donate to them to be able to help others. God Bless this place.

Update: we did go back. As of Wednesday they did not have a working bathroom. Everyone is escorted to the pet area. Because of construction the escort has to stay with us. The cat area was cramped. But it was also in a portable/mobile home.

The dog area. Oh my goodness y'all best dog area I have ever seen. It was outdoor, dogs were happy. We could give them treats. The other shelters I've been at we've never been able to do that. It was not loud. This was the best part.

The staff was really flexible considering all the adjustment they're having to make with the construction.

We did have to put our name on a list and wait to be escorted back.

Old review:
When we visited a week ago the shelter was redoing their sidewalk so we couldn't see the kitties. That's the only reason for the 3 star review. I will update once construction is more complete and we experience more. The website does clearly state they are under construction.

Great place for adoption. Clean , friendly staff. Would love to take in more kittens, I have 2 now, adorable, playful, so amusing to watch them play together. Glad they get along and happy kittens with different characters

We adopted Tessa a Sheppard/Lab mix about 5 weeks ago and she is an amazing dog. Jody in admissions was so helpful in making sure we found the right fit. I have adopt multiple dog from here and never had a bad experience.

I adopted Luna from the Humane Society of Pinellas in December 2021. It was a good experience and easy process to find a dog that fit my needs, and interact with while making the right choice. The paperwork was simple to complete. The counselor that worked with me was great. She was this really cute woman named, Aneshley, and even gave me some puppy food, and treats to get started. Luna is growing up fast and enjoys snuggles, being caught eating my shoes laces, and playing with other dogs at the park.
