My husband and I moved in February 24, 2022. We are in our 60's and pleased with our decision to plan for the future here at Regency Oaks. We have found the atmosphere inviting and the other residents friendly and welcoming. There are a variety of activities available in which one can participate. The staff is helpful and they go out of their way to say "yes" to requests.
A year ago my parents decided that they wanted to move to an Independent living facility. We visited 6 other facilities in the area and when we arrived at Regency Oaks, we all knew this was the place for them. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The staff is very friendly and you really feel heard. The apartment configurations and upgrades are the best in the area. You really are living in an upgraded apartment, not something worn out and beige. My mom loves to cook and she is very happy with the food offerings, and the beautifully decorated dining rooms. There are so many activities offered, and best of all, if you like to swim, they even have a large indoor pool! Who would think an indoor pool would be needed in Florida, but now they can swim rain or shine. My dad attends the “Great Courses” lectures & signs up for the field trips to the museums, and my mom belongs to 3 different bridge clubs. My parents have been more active here than they have been in the last 5 years, and I’m so happy they’ve found such a beautiful new home.
I don't usually write reviews but my experience with everyone at Regency Oaks lead me to share a few things.
Everyone at the front sales office truly cares about all the residents and fellow employees.
They are very professional and friendly.
It seems that they know everyone on the campus. It's a beautiful park like setting
With a small town feel.
The employees in front and behind the scenes are very friendly and helpful too!
Smiles are definitely a part of their dress
code. They make us all feel safe, secure and
part of their family. And the savory aromas coming from the kitchen make it feel like home.
After many years of visits to Regency Oaks, it's always a pleasant experience to see the residents smiling and chatting with others including the employees and medical staff.
This is a very positive and active community
and a blessing to all those who work or live there.
My dad was brought to Regency Oaks for rehab, he is 90 years old with dementia. The entire staff starting with the front desk receptionists, the nursing assistants, nursing staff, the activities manager, the rehabilitation staff, social worker and facility directors were all excellent, they were attentive to my dad's needs and also communicated with me daily. All shifts including weekend staff was exceptional. The staff will work with family members and are flexible to accommodate the patients needs. My dad was discharged to an assisted living facility. I did not have any negative experiences. I would highly recommend Regency Oaks.
We moved in about 14 months ago. It's wonderful! Our new apartment is gorgeous. We don't have to prepare our meals (unless we want to), and the pains of home ownership & maintenance are gone for good. Best move we've ever made!
