Southern Bay Bakery

This place is so good. We have been here twice now and we are HOOKED.

I called about two weeks in advance to an event and put in an order for a cake with Southern Bay bakery and I can’t believe how wonderful the process was!!!!

They were very thorough in asking what I wanted and needed out of the cake, and they were super sweet during the entire process, since this was the first time I’ve ever had a custom cake made! A few days prior, they even called to verify the pick up date which put my mind at ease that everything was going to be ready upon pick up.

And when I say I was absolutely gob smacked when I saw how beautiful the cake is, I am not lying!! I didn’t know what I expected when I told them what my vision was, but it was executed perfectly and the cake not only looked absolutely amazing, it was delicious to boot!!

By far the best bakery in Clearwater. Consistently fresh product, good selection, great taste, attentive staff, and ample seating or if one prefers a cozy lounge area. I've been going to the one in St Pete for years because it's close to where I work, but now I can stop by here more often since it's less than a mile of where I live. I would put up an "open" sign though and invest in more lighting in the main seating area.

My buddy and I came here for a quick coffee and and brunch on a rainy Sunday Morning. This is a really nice bakery with baked goods and coffee.

I ordered a Raspberry Twist and had some of the Chicken Pot Pie. I highly recommend both, but the Chicken Pot Pie was absolutely amazing.

Atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. Food is amazing and well worth a shot if you've never been.

Kudos to a successful local small business in Dunedin.
