“If there was an option for 10 stars that’s what I would leave. My daughter and I rented bikes yesterday for her birthday. Neither one of us have ever been on one. The men who work and run the shop were so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and very patient with us. At 65, I really need explicit instructions on learning new things. . We rode to Tarpon Springs on the Pinellas Trail, had a celebratory beverage and lunch, shopped and walked around a bit. What a beautiful day. We had the best time! We both want to buy an electric bike now🤦🏻♀️ Thank you guys for making our day perfect!”

“Juan’s is a casual dinning experience. Walk up to the counter and tell them what you would like. I got the tacos with chips and salsa, one chicken and one black bean. They have 3 salsas, hot, medium and mild. Mild is very mild so if you like a little spice go for medium. The food was very fresh including fresh cut cilantro which I loved! Fast and friendly service. Great lunch time dinning experience. I was in and out very quickly.”

“Had a very difficult key situation with my antique Honda motorbike. I could have ordered another ignition but then I would have had multiple keys for the same bike. Somehow they found a way to replicate the original ignition key which then allowed me to use the other two locks on the bike. Friendly courteous and prompt!”

“Pete was amazing!! I came in early Saturday Morning(8:30), there was no wait. He cut both of my sons hair, age 6 & 3. He was very engaging with them & made them feel safe around the clippers! He joked around with my 6 y/o & even though my 3 y/o put up a fight he was able to give him a good haircut!! This place is clean & kid friendly! He has a toy car that kids can play in before the haircut and he brought out some small toy cars to keep my 3y/o entertained during his haircut. He was fast, we were in and out in less than an hour. And you can’t beat the price! $10 per haircut. All in all I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!! Thanks Pete! I forgot to add, this place is cash only! So make sure you take out cash before you come!”

“What a liquor store. This is an alcohol supermarket with a bar and cigar humidor. Almost every type of alcohol you can think of is offered here. The aisle’s were stocked and neat. The cigars were fresh. They have specials as well as old favorites. I know where I’m coming for my drinks from now on 😎”

“This is a hike through the woods. This is not a pretty boardwalk type of hike, expect bugs, sand, mud puddles. It's very natural. That said I love this place. If you want to see some Osprey and their nest you will find them on these trails. We saw more than I could count. There is also an eagle nest that seems to be an annual thing now. The trail starts near the only restrooms you will find. I suggest a backpack, water and bug spray. The trails are closed off near the Eagles nest. If you are interested in walking to the northern tip, you have to take one of the other routes. Once you get to the far end, there are tiny sandy spots, mangroves for some shade if you like and the sand can be a bit muddy feeling if you get in the water. There is a lagoon that is to the west and a sliver of land that makes this a more protected shoreline that the true "beach" side of Honeymoon Island. I do enjoy hiking these trails as you have seabirds, all types of mangroves, turtles, snakes and a mix of saltwater life and things you might see more inland. We spotted about 5 gopher turtles, one large diamondback rattlesnake looking to cross the trail, a great many ospreys, one eagle and three owls. The park is such that if you want to hike and then go to the beach after you can change in the very nice bathhouses / restrooms. You can take a trail that leads to the northern end of the beaches within minutes. Picnic tables are plentiful near the parking area ( no tables or restrooms on the trails) so a lunch for after your hike and before the beach can make for a very full day. I have reviewed the beach before so I will leave you to look at that review if you care to. We saw several birdwatchers while on the trail who were happy to point out some of the wildlife.”

“Believe all the 5-Star reviews! Wanted good Mexican food after a day on Honeymoon Island and found this place. It’s in a strip mall next to a bingo hall, but don’t let that turn you away. The quality of food, choices, and service were all stellar. I had enchiladas and my wife had a vegetable quesadilla. We also had an order of their homemade guacamole, which was amazing. Our happy energetic server brought out the customary complimentary basket of chips with salsa, but the chips were anything but customary. They were the best homemade Mexican restaurant chips that we have ever had… crispy, fresh, had that unmistakable freshly made authentic on the spot flavor, and not at all greasy - simply perfect. The bathrooms at this restaurant were impeccably clean and had beautiful Mexican art ceramic wash bowls. I poked my head into the order counter and gave the cooks and kitchen staff a thumbs-up. They were all smiling and humbled in receiving the compliment.”
