Solar Source has been an excellent partner in designing and installing a high quality photo-voltaic (PV) and battery storage system. Our desire was to build a system that would essentially freeze our cost of electricity for the future. Even if FPL manages to eliminate Net Metering through the Public Service Commission we should be able to store energy in the batteries during peak production and draw on that stored energy during our times of peak usage. The batteries also will provide power during outages that will probably become more frequent and more intense storms in the future.

Our salesperson, Bryan, was great to work with. He has 10 years of experience in installation of solar systems, and many years in sales. He is attentive and responsive, especially in working issues out within the company itself. Don't kid yourself, there are issues that will come up because these are complicated systems and you will need a company that is dedicated to their customers' satisfaction.

Our installation team of Steve and Cory spent several days on installation and connection of the system, including panels, batteries, gateway (transfer switch), rewiring the electrical panels and interfacing to the power line. What resulted was a showcase of equipment mounted on our garage wall. They definitely take pride in their work and are happy to discuss what is being done during the installation. We're looking forward to their return for the commissioning of the system so we start generating and storing and time shifting our solar energy.
