Sparr Heights Estates is the ideal community for anyone seeking a continuation of a 5 star lifestyle. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Anyone who meets the Administrator, EJ, for the first time, knows Sparr Heights is in secure hands with management and that it is a fun, happy place!

It’s nestled in beautiful Montrose, CA and they have residents walk down to Trader Joe’s for independent shopping which is right around the corner. When I walked into the lobby, residents were laughing in conversation with each other and the Beatles were playing overhead immediately giving it a warm, engaging vibe.

I recently had one of my nurses travel here to work at Sparr Heights and out of all the places I’ve sent her to across the nation, she said, hands down, “Sparr is the nicest community I’ve ever been a part of in Sr. Living.” Sparr Heights is one of the best Assisted Living communities around and you’re in great hands choosing this home for yourself or a loved one.

Most recently our family had to come to terms with placing our father in an assisted living home. After looking at many facilities we decided on Mountview Elmcroft in Montrose. From our first meeting with Victoria Spencer we were convinced this place was the one for our Dad. Everyone from the receptionist to his caretakers to the meal supervisor have been nothing but kind to us and our Dad.
During the transition, we made plenty of calls and visits and asked many questions and everyone we spoke to eased our fears and made us feel comfortable. We can not express how much we appreciate all the hard work the staff has done to make my Dad feel comfortable in his new home.

Mountview assisted living is a beautiful community to live. The location is perfect. Located literally 5 min walking distance from old town Montrose which is where they have variety of restaurants, a bowling alley, a movie theater, coffee shops and shopping. And the pretty mountain views looking out your window is also a huge plus. The inside of the assisted living is also very clean and beautiful. I would definitely recommend seeing the community if you haven't yet.

Mountview is a beautiful facility, with staff that mirrors it’s quality. As the Director of Marketing for HouseCall MD, I’ve had such a wonderful experience working with them. They encourage working with the community, making sure their residents have all the best options for resources when needed. They’ve been a wonderful support helping our company grow and we would like to continue aligning our quality of services to provide optimal care for residents and their families!

My sister has been living in the Mountview Assisted Living facility in Montrose for over a year. She has a very nice, clean room, LOVES the staff and many of the residents. She very much enjoys the many activites and occasional outings. We, her family are very impressed with how well the staff knows her and attends to her own emotional needs, as well as the physical needs. She obviously feels very much "at home" there. So much so that sometimes when we take her out, she is anxious to get back to her "friends." We highly recommend this facility.
