Island Gulf Resort

This place has everything you could ever need. You can literally get off a plane stop by the grocery store and not have to leave for the length of the stay. Check in was kinda weird. Had to go down the street a mile to another resort to get the keys. 10 am check out is kinda early too but we'll worth the visit. The beach is a very short walk. The lounge chairs are there for using along with beach toys sand toys for the kids.

Owner condos 13 units...rentals available. Well-managed...clean...right on beach and beach in front on condos is for Island Gulf tenants/renters. Beautiful view. There are couple public beaches 1-2 mi. away....
public seems to stay there. Everyone from all condos can walk beach, just private set-up in front of condo where you stay. Madeira Beach is Beautiful!...Gulf waters generally calmer than Atlantic side...
white sand. John's Pass is a mile walk on beach...or mi. drive to enjoy all the shops & restaurants. My 4th visit..Beautiful vacation week. I Love It!

We enjoyed our stay. It was just my husband and I and we had a1 bedroom loft, beach front room. It was clean, well furnished, including the kitchen. It is not a new building but had been updated very well. Beach access was great. We would consider staying again.

We stayed here a week ago for a week. We had an enjoyable time. I could not find anything regarding our one bedroom loft to complain about. It is perhaps one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. The staff were wonderful. The location is great. The previous complainer about not having a view of the ocean should have read that the website. There were several activities scheduled during our stay. The hot tub was warm although the outdoors was very chilly the week we were there. The grounds were kept very clean.Although parking is limited to one spot per unit there is additional parking available in a very short distance. If you didn’t have a good stay while here it’s because you did not try hard enough. Mary is a great manager and has information about everything. We look forward to coming back in October or November.
