“My dyslexic daughter was struggling (failing really) in the public school and rapidly falling behind her peers. Medical doctors gave me a clear understanding of her diagnosis but not a clear game plan to address it. Lemon Tree took the time to understand her specific needs, craft a specific approach matched to those needs and then laid out a therapy plan. There is no magic pill here. Things did not happen after one or two visits but this was clearly communicated from the beginning. The overwhelming success we saw was most evident in how my daughter became self aware of her particular weaknesses (and strengths) when reading or studying. She learned and then mastered when and how to apply the techniques she was taught. She began to succeed and then excel in her remaining primary and secondary schooling. She is a college sophomore now and reading is a passion and a joy for her. She has held onto the studying techniques she learned. BOTTOM LINE: There is no scenario where we as parents could have accomplished this on our own or by leveraging the resources of the public school system.
