I had a heart attack in 2017 and don't recommend that to be the event were you select your cardiologist but that's how I met Dr. Philip Morales at Baylor Heart in Plano. I am sure God was watching over me as he is exceptional. I had to have a stent installed and he will be my cardioligist for the rest of my life. The procedure involved my wrist entry point so no painful groin entry recovery required. I couldn't be happier with his patient demeanor and willingness to answer all my questions with no rush.
Everyone should consider having a cardiologist checkup after age 50 or sooner if they have symptoms. And if you are considering a cardioligist, I strongly recommend a consult with Dr. Morales and know you will be in good hands.
