Boca Ciega Millennium Park

It's a great park. Not really big But plenty of wildlife To see and take pictures (a couple hours at most)
Fun place to walk your dog But sometimes dogs bark at the wild life and spook them away. So if taking your fur baby for a hike..be respectful to photographers.
Our Goldie Tebow loves the park..even though he stuck in a cone for the time being 😁

The playground and surrounding area is very well maintained. The restrooms were checked and cleaned by volunteers at least twice during our 3-hour visit. The floor of the playground area is a soft, rubber cushion, which was nice for children and adults alike to walk on. Newly walking toddlers had a soft spot to fall without harm. Several benches surround the playground area and sidewalks are nice and wide for littles to ride scooters/bikes. Handicap accessible! There are also both trash and recycling bins available on site, as well as a covered pavilion with picnic tables.

I docked one star because several items of equipment (alligator statue, toddler climbing apparatus, swings) were extremely hot to the touch and it was not even a very hot day. Most of the playground is covered by shade sails, but the baby swings especially were in the full sun the whole time we were there and I believe they do not ever receive shade at all during the day.

Great park with some trails and an awesome playground. There is also a smaller playground next to the larger one for the littler kids. Plenty of benches and tables for the parents to sit at while the kids play and ample parking. There are also public bathroom conveniently located next to the playgrounds. Overall the park seemed clean and well maintained too

Nice park on the bay with an observation tower. Saw 2 ospreys each one on top of its own dead tree near the water where there was plenty of fish swimming around in clear water and easy to see for them and eat. Nice place to take a walk and get some vitamin D and take in the scenery. Theres a little fenced in dog park there too for the canine lovers.

Beautiful new playground; dog park well tended, 2 areas for larger & smaller dogs; mostly nice people. Great boardwalk & 3 story observation tower. A more natural park. Great walking paths.

Update. New morning people at dog park rude and bossy. One woman with aggressive Aussie mix scream at others when her dog is the one who starts trouble. Had to stop going.
