The property is immaculate, the suites provide EVERYTHING you need and more, from a fully stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator, washer and dryer FREE TO USE on property, grills, beautiful lighted pool at night, picnic tables with umbrellas for shade, to the linen closet with aloe for to much sun... nothing is forgotten here! The owners are WONDERFUL people, very accommodating and will make you feel right at home! Everything is within walking distance including the beach which is just a 3 minute stroll! Call Gulfside before you book anywhere else.. you won’t be sorry and you will go back every year! I met Kathy and her brother Jim...( forgot to mention Resort is family owned) I consider them friends of mine now... Great people, Beautiful place, a memory I’ll never forget!”

“Second visit today, just as good as the first. Ham & Brie Crepes, Mixed Berry Crepes, & Lobster Bisque were simply perfect. That Bisque is lucious and rich! Best ever. Great service, good prices, and a nice vibe. With the exception of a nearby table failing to be responsible parents and not allow children to act up in a public restaurant, it was a great visit today.”

“This place is a gem! It's quaint, simple and perfect for a relaxing beach weekend in pass-a-grill. The staff was so kind and accommodating and I loved that they text you so I could ask questions via text anytime. I also appreciated the easy, contactless check in process. We stayed in the Juniper room and it was small but perfect. Newly renovated and clean and it was so nice to have a kitchenette. The location is walking distance to all of the restaurants nearby and just steps to the beach. I loved that the rooms came with a small beach cooler and access to beach chairs, beach towels, and bikes! We will have to come back!”

“This was a great adventure !!! “Ian” our cruise director/boat driver was amazing. Because of the time we needed (a morning ) they accommodated our schedule. In fact, we had a private cruise with no extra charge. We saw dolphins and went to Shell Island. I would recommend this company. In fact, we were scheduled with a different company and they cancelled because there wasn’t enough people. We offered to pay for two extra people and they still cancelled. THIS COMPANY WAS TERRIFIC!!! I am so happy we called them”

“We collected many big amazing shells! You'll get a parking pass for the whole day, an umbrella and Googles if needed. I've been to plenty of beaches in Florida but these big shells are rare to find in one piece. Also, on the side of the island when going from Ft. De Soto Park with our own boat we don't find shells. Since it's just a part of the island, you should be on the first shuttle of the day or you'll be left with what people leave...Take a little cooler backpack that holds water and your keys and go shelling!”

“Please get the colossal shrimp. It tastes so good. The strings beans were good needed a little more salt for my taste but they were cooked really nicely. The shrimp was crunchy and cooked correctly. The restaurant is nice over looking the ocean. I will def come during the day next time so I can enjoy the view. The sound of the waves are so soothing.”

“The Toasted Monkey was amazing! Great atmosphere wide open space. The bands and music they had playing while we were there was fun and definitely kept the party atmosphere going. Drinks were reasonable and plentiful, food was very good big portions even for the appetizers. A definite spot to go while in St Pete’s and trust me they do not disappoint.”

Booking online was easy, they lose a star for over charging (Including a toll pass for Texas when we never left Florida!) but after a few emails all was settled.”

“Today’s experience kayaking with Doug and Ross truly exceeded our expectations. They are so kind, very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the surrounding areas. There are so many details of our time out on the water that would not have been the same without them there. Especially if you are traveling from a different region, you may not be familiar with the local wildlife and they have all the knowledge to enhance that experience for you. Not only were they super professional, but they were very funny and we laughed so much throughout the trip. The kayaks we used were great quality and it made the trip very comfortable! When we returned they had a nice pressure shower to rise your feet off which was really convenient and they made sure we were hydrated throughout the trip. The two of them are so thoughtful and the location was amazing. We saw manatees, dolphins, a variety of different birds, stingray, crabs, and more! Kayaking through the mangroves and going out to Shell Key was something very special. We highly recommend Costal Kayak Charters!!”
