MA Fitness Kickboxing - St Pete

Had a couple of workouts with Marissa so far and she’s an amazing instructor. Full body workout that leaves me energized and feeling like it was worth it every time.

The current saying is that it takes 21 days to create a habit. I disagree, I say it takes 21 days to get excited about “That” Thing! And I’m not just talking fitness; I’m talking about that thing that gets you excited, that thing that’s not a chore, that thing that you schedule and reschedule all other things around! That ladies and gentlemen is MA Fitness! I could write a soliloquy but I’m going to some it up as best as I can. Would you like to go to workout where no one cares what you and your workout gear looks like come to MA Fitness. A gym where we all secretly thinking our jab cross kicks look like Marissa and Kierra and Matt’s motivating voice wants us to hold that plank just a wee bit longer!! Have a boozy Saturday brunch or just a boozy weekend…step into a 9:00am workout with Will where he doesn't realize that his countdowns are…aww yeah…way off but we love him for it! The definition of community; "a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests and goals.” Outside of dropping 15lbs I’ve picked up my own community of the most amazing, funny, generous and athletic and lets just booze it up on a Saturday people that you will ever meet! As a big city girl that has moved to Florida and who have been a member to all the hype and “It” gyms….come on over to the dark side where you’ll actually enjoy working out! This post is actually 7 days out from my very first kickboxing class at MA Fitness. I've lost weight (and now she's FL fine) but I've also gained an amazing community, My name is Tee and I have a kickboxing habit!!

The trainers here are no joke! The workouts are intense. They push you to do your best. They come up with the most aching core, upper and lower body strength training my muscles have ever experienced. I’m seeing tone in places I never knew existed 😂. Every time I go my endurance builds. They motivate you and push you to take charge of your mind, body, strength and health. I have to say Marissa, Will, and Matt are absolutely the most vigorous and fierce trainers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working out with. They are phenomenal. Tough trainers but they truly want you to reach your full potential plus some extra 😫

Love this place. I drive 30 frickin minutes just to come to class here! Doesn't feel like a workout even tho it is kicking your butt. Love that I can workout barefoot as shoes hurt my feet. Stayed open all of covid too!

I'm on my 4th class and the intrusctors are all super friendly & amazing!! I get a great workout in every time. Thanks MAFitness!!
