You must visit if you are in the area! This is a great little spot to visit for kids and adults. It is family owned and operated and a great volunteer opportunity as well. The shows are very informative and interactive. I have never had the opportunity to touch so many amazing creatures before and feeding them is a whole new experience that you can't imagine. The facility is big enough to provide all kinds of entertainment yet small enough to see everything in just a couple hours. I will absolutely be back!

This is a great place to go for a fun day for all ages! They've expanded so much since they were located on the Sponge Docks. We fed the stingrays and nurse sharks, saw the reptile show, and got to hold some animals too. The people running the animal shows make them very entertaining and informative; they do an excellent job working with little kids while making it fun for adults. We spent about 3 hours here seeing all of the animals and experiencing the shows. Definitely recommend it for a fun day out.

This is a great small, local aquarium! I brought my 12 year old here on Monday while my little were at VPK and he loved it! We weren't here long, but he did enjoy feeding the animals and the touch tanks. We utilized the Florida resident discount to make it fairly inexpensive, however the feeding added up VERY quickly. I didn't feel like you got much for what you paid for in that aspect. This would be great for younger kids or a one on one day. I don't think it would have been worth it for us at full price one day admission, and I'm not sure we would visit enough to be annual pass members. However, if you have young kids this would be totally worth the trip and would be great to visit multiple times throughout the year. The staff was super welcoming and everyone was very friendly!

Great place for young children. Not very big and all outdoors. Price is reasonable but adds up of you have a big family. Annual passes available. You can feed almost every animal there including the baby alligators. There is a small concession stand that has drinks, snacks, and ice cream treats and has several picnic tables in a covered area. Also a small gift shop right up front. Family owned and ran. They also offer homeschool mornings before they open to the public during the regular school year for a great price that includes the admission (only $10, $5 if you have an annual pass). Very informational. They also offer different animal shows throughout the day. There’s also free photo opportunities after the shows like holding a baby alligator or a snake.

Great little place for young kids and families. We really enjoyed our time there and the gator show. Feeding all the animals was really enjoyable. Especially the sharks, fish and stingrays. They have turtles, tortoises, ducks, snakes, lizards, fish, stingrays and numerous invertebrates. Very clean and well organized. They are still adding more exhibits and have only been in new location for about a year.
