Mackay Gardens and Lakeside Preserve

A nice place but not well maintained. There are a lot of branches in the trail that are not disposed of properly. We had fun walking around though, I just think it needs more TLC. We also found fruits here but I don't know if they are edible, they look pretty and delicious lol 😂 If you know they are edible please comment so I can taste them next time. Haha!

A truly beautiful and serene location, a gorgeous Gem is Mackay Gardens near Winterhaven Florida, in Polk County, which has over 500 lakes. Visitors may stroll on numerous paths through the woods, admiring native flora and fauna, walking dogs, and just relaxing. A stunning old home is on the property which the Mackay family lived in, that may be rented for celebrations as well as a pergola area for weddings Views are breathtaking in many places and there is a lovely Demonstration Garden tended by a team of loyal volunteers.
