Really like the preaching. He's very down to earth in his preaching the word of God doesn't tell and doesn't push just says it like it is. Music is good too. People there seem friendly as well. Seems to care about reaching out to Lakeland area (I'm sure other places too) just seems to have agenda on helping people and kids. Only have been twice but definitely will be going back every chance I get.
Sounds funny cause I believe in tithing but how he talks about it he doesn't push but just says how it says in the Bible how we should give before paying bills or anything how God will give back. Gives you a challenge but doesn't demand or make you feel bad. So many preachers say it in other ways I feel uncomfortable he just gives you the message and leaves it to that. I pray I stay healthy enough to see how much I can learn from this church.

Why Lakeland? In the Bible (Luke 15), Jesus tells a story of a shepherd who had been watching 100 sheep. When he lost one of his sheep, he immediately left the 99 to find the 1. The shepherd wasn't as concerned about the 99 sheep that were safe and secure 863-370-9805. kevin@cityplace.church.
