This was a 10 out of 10!!
First ,
I hate zoos because the animals always look miserable in tiny cages.
I visited a safari in Georgia and I thought it was much better because the animals had room and were able to roam .
Here for New Years by my granddaughters request we tried safari wilderness and I was completely shocked how happy and free these animals appear to be roaming on 260* acres (from what a recollect).
It’s so much room and so many clean , healthy and happy looking animals.
Jennifer was the manager and she was sooooo knowledgeable and made our visit worth the 7 hour ride from Georgia.
We hand fed animals and even stopped to take pictures with the cheetah!
Well worth the trip and I hope they stay open for years to come .
Thank you guys so
Much .
At first we were a little reluctant in visiting this place, due to some of the negative reviews.
Sure glad we decided to visit this place. From the start to the finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, and guided us through the park, while viewing some great animals. At the end, you get to feed the camels. Our kids had a blast, and will definitely go back again.
We attended the drive through safari as a part of a birthday celebration for our 10 year old and it was an experience we will never forget. The instructed drive through was very informative and full of perfect close views of the animals. They instructor was not only well aware of the animals but set truthful expectations. Our three year old sat in amazement at all the views of the animals and we left the encounter in complete awe and anticipation for our next visit!
Our tour guide was JJ and she did a phenomenal job talking about all the different kinds of animals and fun facts about them. We went into this blind (knew little to nothing about what to expect) and all had a good time. Best part was definitely getting to feed the animals: water buffalo, llamas, lemurs, and a few others. The t-shirts in the gift shop were a little pricey (+$40) but they have some other more affordable goodies. Overall a good experience and would recommend if you enjoy animals.
P.S. beware the ostriches
It was AMAZING!! And that’s coming from someone who actually did safari in Africa! we went on Wednesday at 1 pm and we were the only couple for the customized vehicle tour, and Art still did an amazing show for us! He’s super knowledgeable about every aspect of the animals and truly care about people having a good time. I got to pet and feed so many animals!!
