  Carlisles Auto is hands down the best shop in Lakeland, and probably Florida. Everyone looks for “their car guy” that they can trust, and that’s Jon and his team.
  
  I’ve brought my own and my partner’s car in multiple times over the years. Turnaround is fast, prices are reasonable, and sometimes they’ll say, “Nope. You don’t need that fixed right now.” Imagine that.
  
  Jon always looks completely booked and busy (because he does great business), but still, you can bring in your car, tell him everything that’s going wrong, he’ll look at his filled parking lot, sigh, and say, “Ok. Come pick it up this afternoon.”

  The local Cadillac dealer wanted $7300 to change oil seals, brakes front and rear, and alternator (Northstar V8). I took the car to John where he confirmed the car did need the repairs, however he charged a VERY fair price. All done and said the cost was under $2200.. That is a huge savings. I been using Carlisle for repairs and maintenance on my daughter's Volvo for several years now. Great choice and alternative to the dealership.. Thanks John, hope I don't need major repairs, but I know where to go first!!

  Each time, I’ve taken my Mercedes in for scheduled routine car maintenance or even any unforeseen repairs it was a stress free experience at Carlisles Auto Service. Several of my friends advised me to take my car to this reputable local business after the manufacturer’s warranty expired. Needless to say, I haven’t had any regrets. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable, experienced, professional, courteous, and friendly. Also, each payment was exactly the amount quoted during consultation. Therefore, trust was established, and I was financially prepared. My car has always been returned in a timely fashion and the repairs are noticeable. Trust and believe, as a female, I will always recommend this local business to everyone I encounter. It’s very important for me to know that I can rely on Carlisles’ Auto Service. 05/05/19
