Tenoroc Public Use Area

Staff was so kind hosting our event for Uncommon Grit! Lots of fun shooting clay pigeons!! Beautiful scenery!

This is a hidden gem in Polk County. It's a fantastic location for sporting clays. They have three really well done clay courses, Five Stand, skeet and golf carts, all are excellent. Tenoroc rivals any private clay club I've visited in Florida.
In addition, they have great general gun and rifle ranges and even some really great hiking trails.

To use this hiking trail, you must stop at the main office at 3755 Tenoroc Mine Rd, Lakeland, FL, to pay the $3 fee and get a parking pass. I hiked here with WTM meetup group for the elevation and scenic views, which are rare to find in Central Florida. We completed the 3-mile loop at least three times, doing over-and-backs on the "Strenuous" section to build endurance, though the elevation made it feel like more. The loop is easy to navigate and well-marked.

Beautiful nature park! Breathtaking views, gorgeous lakes. Lots of fishing!!! Also, the park takes are amazing! They are very helpful in telling you where to fish and whats biting! We absolutely loved it visit to Tenoroc, especially to Picnic Lake! We highly recommend you visit and get back into nature here! You will not be disappointed.
