  Excellent waffles accompanied by a very tasty sausage, plantain butter, and scrumptious maple syrup! Loved the coffee! Just the right amount and strength. Took the other dish home for my husband who loved it! Definitely planning on more breakfasts and brunches here!

  This new restaurant is a gem with a beautiful setting; Is an absolute must visit. I really enjoyed the environment and the excellent service. I love their guava and parcha natural juice, but their coffee is a MUST have. The food presentation was outstanding, and the flavor was delicious, fresh and on point. The variety of menu choices are great for all taste. I highly recommend this place.

  What an amazing dining experience!! The food was absolutely delicious and so fresh!! To my surprise, I recognized 2 of their servers (they came from another restaurant that I used to go - what an ASSET to this place!!! ) and their service was OUTSTANDING! Thank you Yvonne and Nory for your wonderful service and for educating me about your delicious menu. This place is so clean, elegant and the ambiance is so so great! Congratulations for bringing to Polk County such as amazing concept!! A new spot to support for sure! Bendiciones!💚

  Prices are reasonable but I wasn't particularly impressed with the food. I've got the Philly Omy (frittata with steak), my husband got Cedar waffle sausage. My frittata was nice when it came to the eggs and salsa but the stake was just pieces of underflavored, overdone meat that in my opinion didn't bring anything to the dish. The sausage in my husband's dish was very tasty, I wish I would've got that in my frittata. The waffles were nice too but they could've realy benefit from more cheese. The water was sulfurous which I expect a bit more from a gourmet place. I think it could be filtered better or just use bottled/fountain water. Menus are in an uncomfortable format that makes no sense, probably for the sake of being "different". Overall it was OK, but didn't feel like it was exceptional. It is also only their second day being open, things might very much change to better in time.

  We went on opening day around 2pm. The place has a modern, familiar, and cozy atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. We were served by young man. As a courtesy of the house he served us potato soup, so that we could try the soup of the day. My husband ordered the San Benedict and I ordered the Tripleta. Delicious both dishes! Then we ordered Pancake Cajeta. This dish is super delicious. The sauce is so rich that you don't need to add anything else. We also order natural passion fruit and soursop juices. These natural juice flavors took me back to my childhood years in my beloved PR. Already making plans to return this week to order the Desayuno Burrito, the BLT Avocado Toast, and of course the natural juices! If you want to eat in a cozy place where the attention, the service, and the food is the best, then I recommend you go to Sorrel!
