  The food is outstanding. I had the barbeque rib sandwich, collard greens and cornbread. The sandwich is packed and the rib meat is tender. The greens were also tender & tasty. However, my cornbread was not hot (but also good for the bite I had). I think for the price, a side item & drink should be included with the sandwich. As an older African-American Lady, from the South, who grew up on soul food this place rates as one of the best to serve bbq and soul food. On the way home (Jupiter, FL), from Tampa, we (nieces & sisters) made a point to stop by Carter's and we were not disappointed. Had heard a lot about it from family who had happened upon it while traveling. They have sweet potato pie, mac n cheese, black eyed peas, yellow & white rice, sweet potatoes, yams, french fries, and blue velvet cupcakes.

  Been here twice and the food was 5 stars both times... I love the mustard sauce (my wife not so much lol but we both love all the rest of their sauces). Service is friendly and fast, the ribs fall off the bone, and you can taste the love in every bite. This is a can't miss establishment, if you drive past it and you want BBQ, you'll regret it.
