Polk County Fire Rescue Station 8

Absolute heroes in my book-- I finally gave them a desperate, early morning call for a spewing water leak after calling 3 different "24/7 emergency" plumbing companies and waiting over 2 1/2 hours while floors, carpets, and who knows what filled with water with NO emergency response from the plumbers (first call was made at 2:30 a.m. and it's now almost 5:30 a.m. and I've still heard nothing from the actual plumbers, btw). I know a little less than nothing about plumbing, so the 3 wonderful gentlemen who came out from Fire & Rescue were able to turn off the main, then helped get the source of the actual spewing water turned off, and turned the main back on for us. They shouldn't have had to do all that, but they did and our family is SO grateful for their help. (Even the well- known, reputable emergency plumbers I called earn a big fat "0" in my book on this one-- don't believe their "24/7 on call, emergency service" ads for one minute!) Polk County (Mulberry) Fire Rescue on the other hand, earn HUGE kudos for answering a last- ditch effort, desperate call they really shouldn't have had to worry about. You guys are TRULY the best--THANK YOU!!!????????????????????
