  One of the best trails in the area. We come here every few weeks and always see something different. Lost of wildlife and plants of many types. Great Lake view.

  I moved here from PA and this is the 1st place I have found that is dog friendly, that isn't a dog park. I'll be enjoying taking my dog hikes with me again!!

  Trail goes out 5 Miles then return. First trip today saw lot of herons, egrets, cranes, coots, soft shells, rabbits, snakes (corn and racer) cattle, eagles, hawks, humming bird. Then around 3.5 you’ll start to see huge gators gets a bit crazy around 4 and the danger is they are on both sides at the same time less than 15’ from you. Next time Ill bring a walking staff just in case they are very close and some moved away...some laid still as I passed, the trail is mainly a manicured flat smooth trail very easy walker. Benches a lot the trail to sit and observe.
