“First time playing here. Nice course, friendly staff. It was chilly out all morning so it took away from the nice experience. Not the cheapest course to play either. Well I tried this course again...what a difference a Beautiful day makes. We love this course. Challenging, long and in great condition. We both shot our best games to date. 4-16-23 fourth time on this course this season. We definitely enjoy the course. Second time eating in the course's restaurant. I had the turkey/ham club with fries. 3-3-24 first, last time playing this overpriced course. I paid 93.00 a year ago. Today was 128.00. Nice course, but not worth the $$$.”

“Loved it! I should start by saying that I have stayed at other properties owned by the same owners and have had nothing but great memories! The personalized outings designed by grant and Kim are nothing short of amazing. Whether they take you to the beach for a bbq or have you hanging from a cargo net 65 feet in the air all the excursions are memorable!! The clientele I have met while staying at the retreat have become icons in my life. A short brown man comes to mind when I think of the retreat. I do not recall his name but I do recall the laughs and cigars we shared in the hot tub. Can’t wait to go back!”

“Without a doubt the Goldton At Venice should be at the top of your list if you are looking for the Premiere Residence for your Loved One! Having spent 26 months in a variety of Memory Care Facilities in Sarasota County ranging from just okay to mediocre to downright unhealthy and in some cases dangerous, The Goldton at Venice is by far the epitome of what the 'standard of care' should be for a residential home! Having been newly constructed it lends itself to an open flowing floor plan with many amenities that other places just cannot offer. From the entryway which has one feeling like they are entering a five-star hotel, to tastefully decorated wide hallways and spacious personal room sizes. Where else can you enjoy a Bistro, a private dining room for family gatherings and not one, but two Fine Dining Restaurants, a separate Library, Beauty Salon, Theater, Physical Therapy/Gym along with an outdoor Swimming Pool? My loved one is in the memory care wing of this residence and I have witnessed him blossom in his awareness and activity level since his arrival. Throughout his professional career as an executive every thing always had to be "high level" so imagine my joy at having him tell me that 'this place is VERY high level"! The staff is very well trained and takes the time to get to know the residents and what needs to be done to motivate them and encourage them to make the best of their life! Every time I visit he tells me how much he likes it here and how nice everyone is to him. In 26 months I have never heard such a remark from him. This is music to my ears as he was usually left alone in his room to watch TV in other facilities. And therein lies the distinction between The Goldton and other places. The Goldton is a 'community' of caring individuals and not a facility that basically warehouses individuals. The Goldton has giving him his forever home, a happy place where he is safe and very well cared for! And it has given me serenity and the peace of mind knowing I am providing the very best I can for him! The pricing is reasonable and with so much to offer I am sure there will be a waiting list for all levels of care (independent, assisted and memory care) in the not-too-distant future. You owe it to yourself and your loved one to check it out. I'm eternally grateful that I did!”
