Visited around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. Not very crowded. Seated quickly and the wait staff was quickly at our table with drinks, chips and salsa. The salsa was mild but good texture for dipping. The ambiance is really good with low light and warm colors. Music was not too loud. Ordered the Mexican street tacos ($21) to dine in and a to-go order of pork chilli Verde, rice and beans ($22). The tacos had a decent amount of pork, onions and cilantro. The double corn tortillas were excellent. Rice and beans were spot on. It came with a delicious roasted huge jalapeno pepper which I would take bites of with the taco. Will be back. Atmosphere was great but got seated next to kitchen entrance so is why I dropped a few points for.
The food is top notch. The Catina tortilla chips and salsa is a winning combo!!!! The decor inside is beautiful, reminds me of my recent roadtrip between Arizona and New Mexico. This is my third time here. I usually get the chicken soup but opted this time for rice and beans and Mexican street steak tacos….. omgggg it was piping hot and soooo good. I love their staff as well. They are also known for their amazing drinks menu. When the snowbirds are here there is a line and you will have to wait for a table. During the summer months it’s easy breezy.
Our first time here. The food was delicious and the service was great! My husband had the Molcajete. It was huge! He really enjoyed it and had enough left for another meal. I had the Ala Carte enchiladas, which were delicious. We both enjoyed the chips and salsa. We will be returning!
We finally got a chance to visit one of the Tequila restaurants. I told my wife about this place and she picked the Pink Tequila to eat out on Mother's Day. There was a little bit of a wait to get seated but they notified us via text message. Once seated we enjoyed the atmosphere which wasn't too loud and decor was comforting. All of the staff from the hostess to the waiters were extremely friendly and welcoming. Since it was Mother's Day the kitchen was backed up a bit. However, the waitress apologized and provided fresh chips and salsa. Once our food arrived everything was great. I recommend ordering from their lunch menu to save some money as this place is higher than most similar cuisine. We ordered the chorizo with cheese appetizer, chicken salad, chicken fajitas, taco plate, and enchiladas. Everything was cooked correctly and flavorful. Highly recommend either one of their locations as many friends have always had great experiences.
