I cannot say enough great, amazing and wonderful things about both Sara and Julie at Sandhill. Sara is so incredibly helpful, responsive and supportive throughout her entire process of evaluation and setting up sessions. Julie is incredibly patient, fun, kind hearted and truly loves what she does. I recommend Sandhill to ANYONE looking for speech therapy for their littles. They are flexible, willing to work with your schedule, supportive and helpful!
Laurie and Sara are fantastic! Our son was required speech pre and post frenotomy. He was 3 years old and you can imagine getting a child to sit through 45 minutes of speech therapy would be a challenge. This was not the case. Laurie is engaging, fun and talented in working with children. She used interactive games and techniques to keep him involved in the process. I highly recommend Sandhill Speech & Language Services and feel fortunate we found them!
After nearly a year and a half of looking for a speech therapist who was willing to work with my autistic 7 yr old who has high behaviors and some agressions. I found sandhill speech. Sara and Julie have been fantastic!! They are willing to work with my son. They come right to his school to work with him! I was able to get him in quickly after his last ST refused to come see him in person and only saw him via zoom. Hes laungauge communication, and vocabulary have increased so much he no longer needs his communication device! I highly reccomend!!
My daughter (3) has been receiving services from Sandhill Speech and Language Services for almost 1 year now. Her speech has improved in many ways. At first there was much frustration with my daughter trying to convey simple request. She didn’t know many words so I could not get her simple items such as food without her yelling and crying before finding the correct item. Now she can tell me “I want item” and has an expanded vocabulary. I am starting to be able to now have conversations her and her challenging behaviors from not understanding her speech have decreased down to near none. Her words of people, places, and things around her are increasing all the time and I owe it to Sara and Julie. They have both done an amazing job and keep me up to date with notes on what my daughter is working on. I highly recommend their services.
