(July 22, 2023, 11:30 am)It’s hard to find authentic Mexican tacos. This place has AMAZING tacos, gringas, birria de borrego, consomé, lengua, delicious cebolla asada and chiles toreados. Their salsas are not very spicy but they are flavorful.
The micheladas (inside) “look great” I haven’t tried them, yet.
Highly recommend this place for authentic Mexican tacos (outside) and cuisine (inside). Especially on the weekends Friday - Sunday, 4pm -12am.
Come closer to 6:00 pm when they have the avocado salsa outside. -

Update: Revisited 5 years later, a few days after returning from a trip to CDMX. Closest thing in Sarasota to Mexico City tacos. Tortillas are grilled with a little fat from the meat to make them crispy in the edges. The cabeza is probably the best taco in Sarasota.
