The Harvest

I went two Sundays in a row while on vacation and it was a wonderful experience. Dan's sermons were spirited and genuine, and the church is very loud about loving people the way Jesus would (and does) --- something that made us feel welcome immediately. The music here is beautiful and powerful, too! I was moved to tears each weekend. Great job to those singers and musicians!

This church is not like any other you will ever attend. The minute you walk in, you feel a warm welcome. Pastor Dan is amazing. Not only does he play guitar with the awesome band of many, (and he can sing), but his messages are heartfelt, real, and thought provoking. This church helps our community right here in Sarasota! There are many opportunities to meet nice caring people with several weekly functions/outings throughout each month. Come with an open mind and experience this for yourself, this just could be your church home as it unexpectedly became mine!

Harvest has brought me back to enjoy the teachings of Jesus and the love he had for everyone..thank you!

My husband and I were ready to give up on church altogether when we stumbled upon Harvest a little over a year ago. This isn't even really a church. It is a ministry and a family, with a church attached. You know that your tithe money is going to be used to love and help the community rather than on expensive lighting rigs or something like that. And Pastor Dan's messages are challenging and new. NEVER "listen to me 'cause I am the pastor" and ALWAYS "here is a new and different way to think about this topic, decide if it is right for you." Questions are welcome! Broken people are welcome! And DIVERSITY is welcomed including LGBTQ+! If you are sick and tired of the typical toxic evangelical church presentation, then please visit Harvest. I think you will find it to be a breath of fresh air just like we did.

Love how open and welcoming pastor Dan, Jim & Peggy have made us feel. This church is like no other I’ve been to. There is absolutely NO judgment as we are all children of god. Dan speaks real and breaks down the Bible to today. So we all can understand it. A true family church with all colors, race, gender and equality. Safe Zone LGBT
