My son Austin trained with John for about six months and his pitching really improved. From what I can tell, John covers the full spectrum as far as arm care, strength, therapy and the mechanics of pitching. John is very personable, I can tell the other guys there enjoy it and I'm happy with the choice we made to train with him.
Jon has worked with my son for close to a year. He has utilized numerous tools to build up his velocity, increase his accuracy and develop new pitches. He is great at developing a pitcher while also focusing on arm care. We look forward to continuing to work with him.
As a current athlete that gets to work with John on a day to day basis, I can easily say that if you are looking to make improvements to all parts of your game on the diamond, that this is the place to be. John evaluates his athletes individually and makes a specifically designed program for each and every single one of them. Going into mechanical efficiency lab I had been dealing with arm problems. As of my third month training and with John’s help I have been pain free and can see the progress that I have made is remarkable. As a shortstop this program will help you both in the field and at the plate as well as on the mound. John simply just knows his stuff!
Jon over at MEL does a fantastic job when brought in. He is very diligent in his work. MEL takes time with their clients to help improve their overall effectiveness on the mound. Jon works with all age groups and even will work with colleges to help train groups at a time. He utilizes multiple tools and technologies to break down mechanics in players deliveries in order to maximize what they are able to output on the mound. He also is responsible for setting up training programs to not only utilize what the strengths of the player is, but to find weaknesses and turn them into strengths. Anyone who is serious in their development in the game of baseball would benefit from Jon and his teams advice/training.
Working remotely with John was a huge step forward in my development. I learned a lot about my own body and what types of training I respond to best which will help me as i progress further in baseball. Our assessment was a huge help as we were able to identify which exact areas I need work on to maximize my performance. I would definitely recommend training with John either remotely or at the facility
