Ophelia's on the Bay

Phenomenal food. Oysters Rockefeller, duck, steak. Dessert, red velvet cake was out of this world! Only complaint is the actual table. We felt that we were at the Kiddie table and we don't like sitting on the same side together (we prefer to sit across from each other), but there was not enough room to move.

All we can say is wow! We’ve been here before but never left a review so we had to this time. The restaurant is not only the most peaceful and beautiful place for dinner, but the food and service is absolutely phenomenal as well. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. Definitely recommend the center cut filet over the surf and turf petite filet if your looking for a good steak. The tuna tacos and tempura shrimp for appetizers were amazing and the key lime pie and ensemble for desserts were amazing as well. Thank you Tay for an exceptional experience like always. We will be back! Highly recommended.

Exceptional is the best word to describe our experience at Ophelia’s. Michael, the bartender, was accommodating in explaining the food on the menu, and his suggestions were spot on. We started with the crab cake. The fried green tomato was unexpected but compliment the crab cake perfectly. The sauce on the crab cake was delicious. You will want to use a spoon to get every last drop. My husband and I shared the Caprese salad. It was fresh and flavorful. For entrees, I chose the tuna, which Michael said was his personal favorite, and now I know why. The tuna was prepared to a perfect rare; the kimchi rice was flavorful and delicious. My husband ordered the surf and turf. He asked to have scallops instead of the lobster. We did pay an upcharge for them to swap the lobster for the scallops. He enjoyed the filet and scallops. Lastly, we tried the crème brûlée. It was also delicious. We enjoyed a glass of wine that was delightful. I highly recommend Ophelias if you are looking for a fine dining experience!

Highly recommend… Loved every minute! The ambience… breathtaking, the food… unbelievable, and the staff… so friendly and knowledgeable! This meal was my Mother’s Day gift from my son 💜 We even had a pod of dolphins playing in front of us while we ate… couldn’t have been any better!!

Unfortunately, I can only give five stars for this beautiful place. On my honeymoon with the wife and we got a beautiful table right by the water. Saw mullet jumping right next to us and some sheepshead at the dock! I got yellowfin snapper and she got halibut. Both were incredible dishes, I didn’t know fish could be cooked so perfectly! Couldn’t resist a second round of our cocktails either cause they were so delicious. There are no bad choices on their menu.

Had some crème brûlée for dessert which was phenomenal. Our server Chris gave us some complimentary celebratory Champagne. It was simply an experience we’ll always remember and a huge highlight of our honeymoon!
