Skordas Fotios a DDS

Dr. Skordas did a wonderful job extracting a bothersome, irreplaceable molar. I've never had extractions of teeth neither have I had continual dental care as an adult. The few times I've been to other dentists, most were bad experiences. I expected the extraction to be very painful. But Dr. Skordas explained well what he'd do. I didn't think the numbing anasthetics would work well enough. However, it did, to my surprise. Dr. Skordas worked at least an hour with breaks. While working on the tooth, he was very polite, often asking if I was ok. Only 2 - 3 times I felt some pain & he offered an extra shot for more relief. It went so well that I could easily relax & was so tired I could've taken a nap.
I'm very grateful for Dr. Skordas's skills & patience. The previous dentist wasn't, lied to me about several things & tried to rip me off knowing I couldn't afford it. I have only Medicaid with dental & vision, which aren't often accepted. Insurance covers the extraction & a future procedure I need. I'm happy to have insurance covered on what I need & have a great dentist/oral surgeon! It's a shame there's been negative feedback by some people. However, I think more staff at the office would help administratively & better communication which seems to be lacking a bit. Otherwise, I highly recommend Dr.Skordas.

I've been a patient of Dr Skordas for 8 years. Several of my family and friends also see him. Aside from being extremely knowledgeable, he has excellent "bedside manner" as they say. My children love going to the dentist and have no fear because he treats them with care and respect. He has a high level of patience for children and "difficult" special needs and autistic patients from what I have witnessed. He also takes a lot of emergency patients...so yes, that means that you sometimes you have to wait a really long time. When we go for our appointments we know it's very likely we will have to wait. It's not ideal but I have peace of mind when I go there because I know we will all get the best treatment and he will never try to make us have unnecessary procedures. I can trust his work and his advice.

This dentist is a wonderful man. He is caring and provides excellent service. The office is clean and the staff is efficient and professional. My daughter received much needed oral care and we cannot say enough good concerning this dental practice. AAA+++ Thank you Dr. Skordas!
