I had an issue with the DMV that was headed for disaster. Florida will not register a car in your name unless you have insurance on it. I did not know that. The seller was only available on that day. I called Ric Coffey and told him the issue. He took the new car information and within minutes I had insurance on the new car and an email with the insurance policy information for the DMV. Got it done because Ric provided me with first class customer service. I have been dealing with Ric since moving to Florida twelve years ago and he's always there when I need him.

1. One of my vehicles was stolen and while most of my dealings have been with the claims office, our agent Ric, called often to ensure that everything was taken care of.
2. We recently sold our home in July and while we got partial policy refunds on our homeowners insurance, taxes, etc. we neglected to notify the carrier for Flood Insurance. Donna from Ric Coffey State Farm called to ensure we had sold the house and has now filed to get a partial refund on our policy.

I moved out of state for work. I transferred my insurance to the local State Farm in NC. However, I did not realize that the State of FL has a protocol for transferring car tags/ licenses, etc. This caused my license to be suspended and I did not even know it. What I needed was to go back to Florida and turn in my license plates. Ric Coffey did this personally for me. I am not his customer anymore, but he still did it. I did not ask him. He volunteered it on his own. He did not have to do this but he did to be a nice guy. This reminds me of the small town insurance guys I grew up with when I was a kid. It is nice to see the small town service is still alive and well. He personally took my plates to the tax assessor's office and personally made sure my license was brought back to good standing. I am grateful and I strongly recommend using his team. David NC
