Dr. Wade is a rockstar vet. Our Luna is currently under her care for lymphoma. She gives it to straight, which is refreshing. Cancer is no joke and we don’t need to be coddled. Let’s fight the thing and win. Oh, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention her staff. Top tier humans! They know their stuff, are caring and they call you back.

The doctor is incredibly knowledgeable. She gets right to the point & doesn't waste time. She has managed my dogs incurable cancer for almost a year & we are so grateful for the extra time with her. The staff is so sweet & shows lots of love to my dog while we are there. They make sure that she knows she is safe & cared for. I am so appreciative for all of their help.

I have been practicing Veterinary Medicine for more than 30 years, the last 32 here on the gulf coast. I have had the opportunity to work with many veterinary specialists. Most all of the boarded specialist I know put in long hours and place their patients as a high priority, However, Dr. Ward goes beyond that commitment. She is the ONLY BOARDED SPECIALIST I know who works holidays and weekends when, due to challenges beyond her control, she was unable to keep up with her work load. When her colleagues reach out with a question or urgent issue her schedule may be fully booked, even double or triple booked, and she still will tell us send them over. Recently she was working very short staffed because of COVID but she didn't just close her doors and cancel appointments she adjusted her schedule, reached out to her colleagues to see if anyone could spare some of their staff, and saw patients all week and on both Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately when we "general practitioners" want to refer our patients for specialty consults or second opinions we are often told the first availability might be weeks or sometimes months away. Dr. Ward has never put any of my patients in limbo like that. Often she is able to give us the help we need with just a phone consult or a review of the patients data. Helping many people's fur babies get the help they need in a timely fashion. She is one of the most fairly price specialty practice in our area. . By the way she also saw patients on Labor Day. Most Veterinarians work hard to maintain work life balance and often give more than what is healthy to give of themselves but Dr. Ward does this to an extreme. This community is blessed and lucky to have a Veterinary Angel of her caliber available to us. Thank you Dr. Ward for all you and your dedicated staff do. Lisa Paxson-Rollins DVM

We found Dr Ward and her staff to be VERY kind and extremely patient. She took the time to answer all questions, some more than once, as we struggled to accept the inoperable cancer news. Calmly explained our options for treatment and said to let her know if we'd like to schedule - no pressure to continue.

Comet, our 13 year old 80lb dog is our second pet to be referred for a sad diagnosis. Comet required an ultrasound of his underside - which I did not expect would happen with out sedation. Her and her staff were extremely quick while my husband and I were at his head calming him. Working with her team made the task more tolerable for him.

Valentine our blind cat with cardio myopathy calmly allowed fluid drained form her side with out stress or issues.

Our pets have been treated with incredible skill, were surprisingly calm during treatment and we found Dr Ward to be very kind.

My boy Chunk went here for 4 chemo treatments following his thyroidectomy. Dr Ward was very honest with me on what to expect and did not sugar coat anything which I appreciate. Her staff was wonderful and the whole office made something that was extremely stressful to me very easy to deal with. Again please note Dr Ward does not sugar coat and may come off blunt, but she is top notch and will not give you false hope. She will be honest with you on treatment, what to expect and the outcome. Chunk and I scream thank you to her and her wonderful staff
