Tropical Villas of Venice Beach was exactly what we were hoping for on our vacation to Venice, FL! TVOVB is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood just a few blocks from the Gulf and close to downtown Venice restaurants and shops.
The property consists of 10 villas. There is a cute self serve office area that is open 24 hours and has about everything a person could need and then some! The manager, Beverly, was kind and welcoming, she was also more then happy to assist with whatever we needed if it wasn’t available in the office. The villas were very clean and so quiet, we rarely heard another guest! There is only one, two bedroom Villa available but all villas have a sleeper sofa. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit, there was a fully stocked kitchen, ceiling fans in the bedrooms, kitchen and living room area. The air conditioning was also very well-maintained and quiet.
There is a small but very adequate pool and there are also grills available if you feel like using them. The free laundry was awesome and I absolutely loved using the free bikes for an early morning ride to the beach to catch the sunrise! The location has beach chairs, umbrellas, toys for the kids, and shark tooth sifters - everything is free to use during your stay!
I feel it is also important to mention parking. There is a small 6 space parking lot available however there is plenty of street parking too. Before our visit, I felt a little uncertain about the street parking but after arriving I felt safe and comfortable, any reservations about parking on the street were gone.
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return soon!
This place is fantastic. So clean and well thought out. All the amenities are in great condition and they have thought of everything. You could go with just your clothes and they would have everything else you need for a great beach trip. We are definitely coming back!!!
Lush landscaping, a beautiful patch of paradise. Close to town and includes everything you need for a relaxing (or active) stay in Venice. Super clean and well stocked, including coffee, spices, and has a Brita filter in the fridge, which was VERY cold (don’t turn up or it will freeze things). Staff is super friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were comfy. Couple things could be refreshed, but in great shape for age of this unique property. Will stay here again 200%.
Perfect location. Close to everything in a quiet neighborhood. Very friendly and quick with responses. The bicycles and beach gear was a great bonus! The unit is dated but appliances are updated and everything was very clean! We loved our stay and definitely would return.
We drove up from Cape Coral for shark tooth hunting. We had no clue what to do and what to buy. We got a room here, in advance, for a weekend. 2 adults and 2 teen boys. The room had a full kitchen and living room, with a pull-out bed. The bedroom had a king size with a full bath. The televisions are smart with all the passwords for streaming apps. They have outside bbq grills for everyone to use. They have an enclosed pool that goes to 5’6”. They have a shed with pool, beach, and shark teeth hunting gear to borrow for free. If we were to buy the gear, it would have been more than the room price. The laundry is free and so are bicycle rentals. The landscape is tropical with beautiful paths.
I will be coming back from the Cape for weekend trips to explore and enjoy this gorgeous property and customer service.
