  2019 UPDATE: Wow, a new year, a lengthy holiday season behind them, shopping is indeed a pleasure here. What a turnaround. Thank you.
  
  UPDATE: Better still. This store continues to improve with produce and bakery leading the way. Solid operations both produce an amazing variety of fresh fresh fresh products. My first time with White Mountain Bread- WOW, my new favorite. Thanks for the bakery recommendation. Also appreciate the fresh seasonal items in the produce department as well. I feel kind of sorry for the meat department, it keeps getting smaller and smaller. Probably a sign of the times and a nod to health-conscious shoppers...but that's probably a stretch.   UPDATE: Things are improving. While what was written below was accurate at the time, this place may have turned the corner on customer service. Granted, they had no where to go but up but they have indeed become more helpful and friendly which makes shopping a pleasure. I hope this trend continues!
  
  Avoid the surly employees and shopping is a bearable experience.
  Shopping is never a pleasure. The pleasure left this location long ago. The staff simply does not care except the pharmacy staff. They do. The customer service desk? Forget it. They are the worst. Just shop, pay and get out, that's your best bet at this location. Today, a guy is stocking a shelf and I need something from that shelf. After waiting a bit for him to move, I ask if he can pass me one of those cans. You would have thought I asked him something really personal- he was mad at me! Silly stuff- I just want to buy groceries!
  
  October 31, 2018 Update
  The situation with long time Publix checkers has gotten worse. Usually never a pleasure now, shopping has become nearly confrontational.
  
  First there's the checker with the injured wrist that makes everyone who buys things heavier than a feather as annoying. Cases of bottle beer got me lots of hateful looks, a tone that is all but outright insulting and zero pleasure.
  
  Today, a new episode
  
  This visit, also typically less than a pleasure. This time I needed just a few items so I took a handy little basket as I do several times a week.
  
  Coming p to the express lane, the LONG TIME PUBLIX CHECKER lie in wait, pouncing the moment I set the basket down, saying “You sure nothing is smashed in there? I don’t want to be responsible for the damage” as though I have more than 10 items OR (more likely) just mad that I did not take everything out of the basket and place it on the belt. “Jesus. His tone is undeniable” said the lady behind me. It was. I just paid and left.
  
  I would probably not have mentioned it but I was in the bakery, looking for a particular kind of bread that they bake there in the store. I could not see what I wanted on display. When the bakery worker asked what I wanted I tried to explain but she was having none of it. It was ask for something specific or I might as well have been speaking some other language, one she did not know. I finally found what I was looking for to which she chimed in on the subtle yet sarcastic tone, the new hallmark of Publix employees. The long time ones anyway which is sort of a shame. Not much of a shame though because I should not need to write this.

  I really enjoy grocery shopping at this Publix. Everyone is so nice and very helpful. Not to mention the savings with the BOGOS and digital coupons. On this particular trip, I saved $61 dropping my bill from around $275 to $217 which is very important to me.

  Always a pleasure to shop at this Publix location. Staff is friendly, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. The store is always clean and well stocked. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone.

  Publix is my top Store to shop at. I love the subs they make @ the deli, but I'm about to stop going there. I think they should change their gloves more often when making subs. They use the same gloves to touch everything, going back in forth dealing with the many toppings on people subs. I'm not a fan of MAYO in they always use the same knife to cut the subs in half leaving mayo stuck to the knife, using the same knife with mayo to cut the next person sub is disgusting. They need to be more clean when it comes to making subs.

  This is actually my "FAVORITE" Publix. For so many reasons. I really love how they handle things. Their customer service is top of the line especially in the produce department. The lady back in the area there is is a great representation of Publix. She wants to make sure you are a satisfied customer and I so appreciate that and the rest of the staff is pretty much on the same page. I could go on and on because I really appreciate this store and how they handle those that patronize them.
