Fred is absolutely amazing! He is what you call service! He helped me with my radiator just recently and he made the experience painless he diagnosed my car and then fixed it the next day and had it back to me by 5 the next day I really couldn’t believe it. He is by far the best mechanic I have had. I will never go anywhere else. Thanks Fred.

Update: This location is closed. There is an Auction / Car lot place, First 50 LLC, as of January 2019. Would have been nice to have known prior to the close as there were a handful of customers at the shop which this shop took care of, confused as to why this place is just gone seemingly overnight. Myself included. Sad to see it closed.

Original Review: Have to leave a review. Fred and Brian know what they are talking about, and extremely confident in their work. brought my vehicle from another shop which destroyed my power steering pump repair, among a long list of attempted repairs.

Fred's took care of it right the first time.

Matter of fact, Every repair since bringing my vehicle to this location has been done correctly and properly. Is this the shop with every bell and whistle in the industry? Nope.

Is this the shop that will explain the situation and not price gouge you, and stand behind their work? Absolutely.

I've recommended quite a few people to this shop, and they have all apparently had similar experiences as well. After Hrs Box for key drop off if you work has saved me a few times too. Good people, better service. If that isn't the case, talk to Fred directly and he'll make it right.

I brought my old 95 4runner to Fred yesterday morning with a bad a/c compressor. I supplied the new factory parts. Fred was obviously full up on work but reassured me that he would get it done by the end of the day. I had explained to him it was my only day available to have the work done because it was my work truck.

His shop closes at 5pm. I went down at 8:15p to see what was going on with it, I figured if they were through I'd have the key left somewhere and I'd just be on my way. When I arrived he was just testing out the new compressor and it worked great! He stayed 3 hours past closing time to make sure that I got my vehicle repaired and back that day just like he said he would. Fred has a stand-up work ethic. He is a very genuine, nice person. The office staff didn't hesitate to give me a ride home when I dropped the car off that morning also..

Fred only charged me the original quote, he didn't charge me any extra for the seized bolts and other strange things that came up during the repair. He stuck to the quote even though most mechanics could have raked me over the coals.

I would highly recommend Fred to anyone needing an honest and trustworthy mechanic, without a doubt.

A very hard working and honest mechanic. He came out after hours and worked on my car for 2 and a half hours. I thought my car would never start again but Fred was able to get it started again. He figured out what was wrong with my car when the mechanic before him could not. I'm so impressed with all the work he put into my car for the price. I will recommend Fred's to everyone! Definitely the only mechanic I will be using from now on.

I have been using Fred's Auto Repair for over 5 years and I always get the best service and price and he has even worked with in the past with the payment and he is honest and reliable. His shop employees are very nice and helpful and make you feel comfortable being there and as a single mom this is the only place that fixes my car that I can afford. He has also came to my job to fix problems when my car wouldn't start after work and showed me how to drive the car until I could bring it in to get it fixed right, so much appreciated!! I have to tow my teenagers car in today and praying it isn't something major because he just needs it until mid-February when he joins the Navy. Thank you to Fred and all his staff for an awesome job!!!
