  Kristen / BodyInUnity Yoga school provides a non-judgemental environment to practice. The gentle ease in which she demonstrates each pose and explains why in the practice is superior. I began practicing yoga and meditation with Kristen four years ago off and on, I strongly recommend BodyInUnity Yoga School.

  I’ve been learning from Kristen for over a year when I moved here. She is a pure embodiment of all aspects of yoga and relays them so well lesson by lesson. If you’re looking for more than just a yoga “class” and want to truly learn the intricacies of yoga, this is the teacher for you!!

  I attended the Body In Unity Meditation and Pranayama course. This was the first class that I have taken with Kristen and I could not be more impressed with her extensive knowledge and her ability to share her knowledge. Many instructors will guide their students in the what and how, but she also explained the why in every breath and movement exercise.  I was amazed right away, when faced with the daily stresses of life, using the breath techniques taught by Kristen that I was able to evade the tension and anxiety, and could bring myself back to a calm and positive attitude. It is clear that Kristen not only has a passion for what she is teaching but for those that are in her class, showing complete respect, patience and kindness to each of us.

  I attended Kristen's Christian silent yoga retreat at the Canterbury Retreat Center in Oviedo, held August 28-30, 2020.
  
  The food was excellent and the setting was beautiful.
  
  I enjoyed how much time we spent outside. I was impressed we spent so much time outside, and in comfort, even though it was August in Florida!
  
  Kristen's guidance was just right... letting us know what to expect and giving everyone freedom to participate or not... the lack of pressure was a relief.
  
  Thanks to Dale, Kristen's husband, too. He did a lot of things behind the scenes, as did the great staff at Canterbury. I look forward to future retreats led by Kristen.

  I just finished up Kristen's Awareness & Inversions Feet Up course. It was brilliant! The course has so many tips and foundational work for using the FeetUp trainer. Kristen, as a teacher, is delightful. She is thoughtful, encouraging, and grounding - and the personal coaching sessions bring the course to the next level by giving you a chance to ask questions and learn from other people's questions. I highly recommend -- so much that I just signed up for another course with her!
