I called this church home for over a year and I can say with confidence they teach the truth of Jesus. Overall they are solid in their teachings. If you want to be well educated in the Bible, this place is for you.

One area of concern is children's ministry. So this is for any parent looking to visit. I was made aware that someone who is not a member can volunteer to help in children's ministry and the most concerning is they don't even require you to be a Christian to help in children's ministry. I am not sure why someone who doesn't believe in Jesus would want to be involved in helping out with children at a church in the first place but as a Christian I want to sit through service feeling confident the adults who are helping/pouring into my children are also believers in Jesus. I have always assumed that every person who would be caring for my child in churches would in fact be a Christian but this is not the case here, so thought I would share this for any parent who would also feel uncomfortable with this.

This is a good, old fashion church. The people are friendly, the service is enlightening, and they are VERY accepting of where you are vs where you been.

A group of Jesus-loving, God-revering, obedient worshippers who desire to see God move in Sanford. They truly love every person whom steps foot inside the building & welcome all with open arms! Straightforward, Biblical-based approach to living for Jesus...and for loving each other along the way. They rally around their members & regular attenders and truly walk out their faith in actions. My family & me are so blessed to have found this amazing little church!

Blessed to call this place my home church . Come and join us for worship, sound teaching at 10:30am Sunday’s , and bible study Wednesday’s at 6:30pm. Join the family !
