Fabulous caring vets and staff!!!
We absolutely love VCA as our primary vet. Everyone is very friendly and take great care of our dog (who is a frequent flyer because he has no sense of self-preservation.) Dr. Darnell has always gone above and beyond, explaining the science in a way we understand - even drawing a graph of Parvo immunity when discussing immunization efficacy! She has also texted us multiple times to follow-up after a visit.
We had one issue where our puppy needed to go to an emergency vet after a seizure, and as soon as Dr. Darnell found out from the emergency vet requesting medical records, she reached out to us to make sure everything was okay and asking if there was anything they could do. They've been an invaluable part of our puppy's life and we would recommend them to anyone!
We had changed to a different animal hospital when Dr Hill left and the practice became VCA and it seemed their prices had gone up.
However, after two years with a rival clinic, my wife and I figured out that it was a mistake and ALL of these places are relatively expensive.
So, we have come back to the vet that our little 14 year old Westie had been going for nearly all of her life and feels most comfortable.
Due to the pandemic everything is curbside which is odd but they have made it work. The Vet will come out to your car and discuss any issue your pet is having and is willing to spend the time necessary to explain the needed interventions.
Dr Nicks is hands down, THE BEST. She takes a sincere interest with each pet. She’s extremely intelligent and genuinely a great person. I can’t pay her back for the care and concern she gave to our Petey. 5 stars all the way!
