There’s a reason ACE hardware stores are doing well, even with Home Depot and Lowes everywhere. It’s called customer service. The staff actually know something about the things they sell. For example Joe in the paint department. Thanks Joe for your help with my deck paint problem. It turned out great.

Very pleasant customer service, old fashioned helpful and knowledgeable.
And surprisingly not mush more expensive on most items than the big box stores

These guys provide a great neighborhood hardware store. I live in Walden Chase not too far behind this location and every time I go into the store everyone is very helpful and they have a surprisingly large inventory for a smaller store.

Location is fantastic prices are moderate however not the cheapest. If you want to drive 10 miles more... You may save a dollar on the item but spend $2 gas and $10 of your time driving there. Sometimes it makes a lot more sense to shop local.
