Before seeing Alana, I had no other experience with acupuncture & I had no idea what to expect, I just knew I needed help. I had been struggling mentally and emotionally over the passed couple of years from shouldering the care of my father after a dementia diagnosis. I felt like my body was holding on to so much grief & pain that I had lost who I was. I've been seeing Alana for 6 months now and I can honestly say I feel like a different person (in a really good way!) She truly is a healer in every sense of the word. She really listens and intuitively treats the whole picture of you; who you are in that moment and also how you hope to feel. I'm also a baker (on my feet staring down at a counter for hours) Alana does great massage work on my back, shoulders, and neck in tandem with acupuncture treatments. Really, whatever I'm needing she figures out. I always feel so much better after seeing her. She's the absolute best!

I began working with Alana after graduating from my Masters program. I was exhausted, depleted, suffering from chronic insomnia, & frustrated from not feeling well for a long time. After 6 weeks of acupuncture treatments & taking Chinese herbs prescribed from Alana, I feel like I have come back to life, that I can study, & am now in a thriving, happy, & healthy relationship after being single for 12 years. I have a torn rotator cuff and did not want to pursue surgery since it’s very painful with a long recovery. I didn’t know if acupuncture could help me but I decided to give it a try. Alana worked on me with a combo of acupuncture, massage and hot cupping. After only the second session, the neuropathy in my upper arm vanished, never to return. More sessions gave me more relief and I was able to add rehab to the mix. Alana is fantastic at what she does and I would heartily recommend her services to anyone!
