Surf Station

My niece and I had a blast with “Ty” our great surf instructor. He is kind, patient and always encouraging!!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend Surf Station and Ty.

We hired Ty (at surf shop) to do 3 days worth of surf lessons with my husband and two kids who had never surfed before. He was absolutely Amazing! He was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. By the end of the week everyone was getting up on the board and riding the waves. Everyone has the bug now and wants to be back at the beach. So grateful for his many gifts. Would definitely recommend!

Update on 5/24/22: We just had our surf lesson for our nephew who was in town and Ty was superb! Great teacher, very good communicator and he did a great job managing our nephew’s expectations. When the lesson was over Tyler gave him some tips on things he could work on when he was on his own in the ocean and ideas for practicing. We absolutely recommend him for others looking for a thorough initial lesson or series of lessons for honing your surfing skills. I love this store! I came in to set up surfing lessons but wound up browsing around the store and they have a great selection of clothing, sunglasses and gear. The team there is very welcoming!

We love both Surf Station locations, they have all the gear you need & more! Our 7 year old son had a lesson with Blane on Crescent Beach and had a fun time catching some waves. Blane was a great instructor. We will definitely be going back for more!
