they started with minor work which led to major work like repainting the topsides of my 49 ft catamaran. they did an excellent job at a fair price. I note that Dave Johnson did an especially good and responded quickly on any questions.

Excellent painter on staff. I had my sailboat painted years ago, and I was very pleased with the result. I am planning to bring my "new", old power boat as soon as it is sea worthy again to have it painted by them with Awlgrip.

They performed an epoxy and gelcoat repair on our port bow. The repair was flawless. There is no sign that the bow was damaged. Jake’s communication is prompt and he worked with us to perform the work where we could get the boat docked. Cost of the repair was reasonable and fair.

This summer, I became the proud owner of a 2021 Jeanneau 64 sailboat with a navy blue hull. Over the past few months, with direction from two local captains, I have sailed this boat in the Atlantic in excess of twenty days. We acquired a few scrapes and scuffs along the way. I hunted online for a reputable marine coatings company for repair work and came across Jake Allen at Marine Custom Paint, a local St Augustine company. Earlier today, Jake completed the two-day repair of my boat, and the result is fantastic. I couldn’t be more pleased. Looks like new. Jake is a professional with reasonable prices and excellent communication skills. It’s obvious he cares deeply about what he does. And though I’d like to believe that I won’t need to call Marine Custom Paint ever again, odds are that I will. At least I know my boat will be in good hands.
