“Was recently a victim of the Covid and was laid off. On my second day off, my glasses frame broke. I took it into South Grove hoping they could fix it as I no longer have insurance. Unfortunately, they could not be fixed. I explained my situation and the person I was talking to who conferred with another tech ( apologize I can't remember their names) and offered to replace my frame with one they had on hand that was the same style at no cost. I was very appreciative of the offer and accepted. They had to do some minor shaving of the lens to get it to fit and when I went to pick them up the next day, Barbara came out and said they would also replace my scratched lens at no charge. Needless to say this was way beyond my expectations and very, very much appreciated. South Grove and their people have a customer for life, thank you all.”

“My kids have been taking classes here for about 3 months now. The morals and values they teach our kids is invaluable. The positive energy, understanding and personal relationship building that our kids get to experience is exactly what we need in this community. Barbara and Jose really make these kids the center of their life and business. Relationships don’t stop at the classroom door. They really get involved and relate to these kids on all levels. They have made it their personal goal to make it a safe place for all kids. When you hear the phrase “it takes a village” they are one of the few that actually say it and practice it. I am “that mom” that will ask a million questions and try to understand everything my kids are experiencing and going through. To say they both have patience is an understatement. They hang out in the hall between classes to talk with the parents and build a relationship with us as well. My husband and I are so thankful we found this little jem.”

The deli guys were sooo sweet and patient, one kind worker who’s was going over and above said ‘I want you to come back’ even after I mentioned that I currently live around Atlanta. You could tell actively giving great service was his nature. So now anytime I’m traveling and pass this exit I will visit!”

“They have two Coke machines that allow you varied flavors with the additional flavors to add into your drinks!! That alone is worth stopping here if you need to go inside to get anything. They have a Deli area with food but I haven't gotten past the employee's attitude problem so I went to Wendy's on the one occasion I wanted to try them. Fresh Banana's, donuts and other pastries and coffee are inside. The staff at the main register are attentive and have a good attitude. The interior is clean, well-let and inviting. All of those things make for a pleasant experience as long as you're not dealing with the morning Deli lady. Gas is a bit high but you can sign up for the Shell account which takes money off your gas purchases.”
