“I've been running since 1974 and, over the years, I've suffered three rather serious knee injuries. I've always recovered without surgery, but the rehab periods have been long. The last one, about 4 years ago, took me 18 months to get over. So recently, when I started having knee pain again, I immediately transitioned to walking. But then Lakshmi hooked me up with a pair of Kangoo Jumps and some coaching. After an initial try we made a simple spring change to soften them a bit. Then, with the right springs in place, she got me acclimated to them and prepared me to try a run. Last weekend, I hit the local fitness trail and turned two, three-mile runs... The bike/walk trails are very pretty and the bike trail looks like it has some nice terrain to make it a little more entertaining than just riding on a sidewalk. “We haven’t eaten out much this past year. When we have, we found the food to be very disappointing. My Husband wanted BBQ and we hadn’t been to Bono’s since before the pandemic. I ordered the two meat dinner with turkey and beef brisket. My Husband ordered the ribs. The Brisket was not very good . I ask if I could have a rib in place of it. Not a problem, they gave me two ribs and even offered me 2 more. The ribs were delicious. The sides were very good also. We had squash for an appetizer and we were enjoying every bite. I can’t tell you when The last time we enjoyed a meal out as much as we did tonight. If you haven’t been there in awhile, give it a try.”

I always get hour and a half massages since an hour just isn't enough for me anymore. I saw Bliss and she provided me with an absolutely amazing massage and spa experience! Her deep tissue technique was very very good. The appearance of the spa was awesome and everything from scheduling my appointment, to the receptionists at the front desk, to getting my massage, all the way through checkout was perfection. I actually joined the membership and have been a repeat customer here for months now and I kept meaning to leave this review but my massage brain always made me forget when I was checking out. If you don't schedule a massage here you're missing out on the best place in Jacksonville, hands down.”
