  I rarely write reviews but since I rely on reviews so much and it being the source that I use as to where I'm going to eat for a special occasion thought it could be helpful to someone. I've been eating at Ocean Deck for years (since 2017). This is one of my favorite places to eat in Daytona. This is the same place my boyfriend took me for our first date ( it's perfect for a casual date or just to hang out with friends). The food is good and well seasoned. The service is great (ALL the servers are nice). The only thing is when it's busy it takes awhile for your food to come out. The drinks are a good sized portion (My first time I had a fish bowl drink. I couldn't drink it all). This would be a 5 star with just me not having to wait so long for my food. We always sit on the first floor to eat because you can walk right out on the beach. Last thing make sure you either bring money for parking or park somewhere where there is FREE parking.

  Good food and nice atmosphere. We were looking for good seafood at a fun place and we found out. Within our group we had the Fish and Chips, Grilled Grouper and the Crab Cakes. All were made fresh and full of flavor. They also had fresh vegetables, rice side dishes as well as French Fries. Again, all were really good. They offer more of a dining setting as well as a bar downstairs but both had music and drinks available. Great local place!

  Headed downstairs and sat at the bar. Incredibly fast service. Had a drink in my hand and a half pound of Gulf shrimp in front of me before the live musician played one song. Great shrimp served with both drawn butter and cocktail sauce with a good horsey kick. Seemed a shame to drown out the sweet flavor of those shrimp so I had some of both. Homemade Key Lime Pie for dessert. Great place, great ocean view and great character. Loved it!

  While visiting Dayton Beach Shores from Chicago for a family wedding we ate at the Ocean Deck for a family dinner. There were about 15 of us. The restaurant came highly recommended. It was very cute and the location was nice. They have indoor and out-door seating but we ate inside. The Hamburgers were AMAZING; fresh and cooked perfectly and the types of 'burgers were FUN. However my crab-cakes were NOT so great. The idea was there but they were under-cooked and cold and the mango salsa was not very salsa-y. A few other people in our group had the salmon and they were not too thrilled as well. Dry and not very flavorful. But the staff was awesome!!! and the food came out quick even with our large party. I would give it another go if we visit Dayton again. Maybe next time it will be as good as everyone else says. I'll just chalk it up to the fact that we had A LOT of people in our party and they wanted us to all have our food at the same time..

  Stopped by for lunch after spending the morning walking the beach. Pleasantly surprised. Good food beach side at reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? Atmosphere and beach side give it 4 stars. Food is good but not quite 5 star worthy but I highly recommend this joint.
